Sun Country to Start Minneapolis to Roatan, Honduras

Sun Country Airlines will start once weekly flights between Minneapolis, Minnesota and Roatan, Honduras beginning December 18th, 2020.

Roatan, Honduras is a popular diving island as well as cruise port, which means this flight should do well catering to those in the Minneapolis area.

The U.S. -> Honduras market is recovering well compared to other international routes.

Spirit Airlines has also announced the addition of Minneapolis to San Pedro Sula, Honduras starting in the Fall of 2020.

This new flight should perform very well for Sun Country since many other Caribbean nations have closed borders or have experienced a drastic decline in holiday tourists.

Sun Country Airlines is an Ultra Low Cost airline and the 11th largest airline in the United States.  The airline has 33 aircraft and operates to 54 destinations across the United States and Caribbean.
