Flight Review: United Express – Pittsburgh (PIT) to Newark (EWR)

I recently flew on United Express from Pittsburgh, PA (PIT) to Newark, NJ (EWR) on board an Embraer 145 regional jet. The flight time was one hour, and while the service was nothing too exceptional, we arrived on time, which makes me a happy traveler.

It has been a while since I have flown to the Big Apple, and from what I can remember in my past experiences (traveling and working for this airline), Newark is always delayed (in and out). I was surprised once we were in the air to hear that our flight time was barely over 1 hour. The flight attendant came around serving drinks, of which I obliged myself to a Coffee and Water.

We touched down in Newark right on time, with a brief taxi to the gate. Of course, as usual, my gate-checked bag was the last off the plane, but at least I was not in a major hurry.
